# Life on Track > A private family readiness and household organizer. One-time purchase, no account, no subscription; the household file is saved on the customer's own device. Website: https://lifeontrack.store Support: support@lifeontrack.store Gifting: buy the Toolkit or the Bundle, then pass the license key from the purchase email to the recipient. A free printable gift card is at . ## What it organizes Life on Track helps families organize, in three groups: - People & Contacts: household & family, trusted helpers, school & activities (including guardianship and emergency-care wishes for minor children), and professionals - Home & Property: homes, access & safety (where keys, codes and shutoffs are — never the codes themselves), utilities, vehicles, pets, and maintenance - Money & Records: accounts (income, benefits, taxes, and debts including shared liability), bills & services (payment contacts, due dates, how each is paid), insurance, documents (each can be linked to the policy, will, home or professional it belongs to, so its location appears wherever it is needed), and dates Plus the plan itself: Emergency Info, Hospital Plan, Disaster Plan, Trusted Person Plan, and If You're Reading This. Writing personal letters that appear on that page comes with the Final Wishes & Legacy Planning add-on. ## What a household can record - Emergency contacts - Health information (kept with the person it belongs to) - Important paper locations - Insurance policies (optional policy numbers stay hidden on screen; copies made for other people show at most the last 4 digits, and the owner's own printouts show the last 4 unless the owner chooses otherwise) - Caregiving information for parents, spouses, loved ones, or extended households (Additional Households & Caregivers add-on) - Digital estate information (Digital Estate add-on) - Final wishes and legacy notes, including veteran burial benefits and cemetery plot details (Final Wishes & Legacy Planning add-on) - Letters for the People I Love: private written letters, kept in the file until the writer shares them in a handoff (Final Wishes & Legacy Planning add-on) - A voice message can also be left on the Trusted Person Plan; recordings are kept on the device and included in Backup Copies; Life on Track doesn't upload them - Backup, printable and digital handoff outputs, including an Emergency Sheet, Trusted Person Packet, Offline Handoff File, Doctor Visit Summary, Emergency Wallet Card, Sitter Sheet, and School & Camp Form Helper ## Licensing facts - One-time purchase; the license never expires - One license activates Life on Track on up to 3 devices; customers can deactivate a device themselves anytime - Installs from https://app.lifeontrack.store (steps at https://lifeontrack.store/download.html), with no App Store and no account: Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac; Chrome or Edge on Windows; Chrome on Android. After installing, it opens from an icon like any other app - Devices do not synchronize automatically; information moves via a customer-controlled backup file - Additional Households & Caregivers supports one primary household plus up to 4 additional households (five households in total), each kept as its own household file within the same copy of Life on Track; another license key does not raise the household limit - 14-day money-back guarantee on every purchase; when a refund is issued, the license becomes inactive the next time Life on Track checks it online (the household file on the device is not touched) - Updates: when an update is ready, Life on Track shows a banner (Refresh Now, or Later — keep using this version); customers can also update any time from Settings → Updates → Check for Updates. Customers are not emailed about updates. Fixes, improvements and new versions are included at no extra cost; new add-ons released later may have a separate fee - Support: a real person replies within three business days at support@lifeontrack.store - An installed and activated copy keeps working offline on the customer's device; installing or activating on a new device depends on the license service ## Guided help inside the app - The Home screen shows a recommended, optional three-step path: Start (add what you know through Guided Setup), Protect (create a Backup Copy), Share (prepare a Trusted Person Packet). A customer can stop and return at any time - Preparing a Trusted Person Packet does not send it. Life on Track does not upload or transmit household information; the customer decides whether, when and how to share - The Offline Handoff File is the digital handoff. The trusted person opens it on their own computer or phone, with nothing to buy, install or sign up for. It can be password-protected, with the password given separately - Guided Setup is the single eleven-step starting experience used in the Start stage; Setup Guides is the wider library of optional focused guides - Setup guides: Guided Setup, Emergency Ready Setup, Home & Access Setup, Records & Bills Setup, Child & School Setup (shown when a child is added), and Caregiver Setup (Additional Households & Caregivers add-on) - Check-ups: Family Ready Review, Trusted Person Handoff Check-Up, Backup Confidence Check, Emergency Walk-Through, Beneficiary Check-Up, a Helper Guide for the person stepping in, and an Account Ownership Check-Up - Recent activity on the Home screen also records backups, printouts, and reviews - A twice-yearly update reminder on Home invites the customer to review and update each household; marking it complete brings it back at the next six-month check (an on-screen reminder, not a notification) - Test Opening My Backup in Settings (a read-only rehearsal of restoring a backup) - My Complete Private Record (owner-only printable record; sensitive numbers show last 4 digits by default) ## Key privacy points - The private family file is saved on the user's own device, not on Life on Track's servers - Users control their own backup - Users should not store passwords directly in Life on Track ## Products and prices All products are one-time purchases; every add-on requires the Toolkit and unlocks only that add-on; the Bundle uses one license key that includes all three add-ons, and an add-on bought separately has its own key. - Family Readiness Toolkit: $149. Organize the essential information, records, contacts and instructions for one household, with printed and digital handoffs - Additional Households & Caregivers: $79 (add-on). Manage four more households, for five in total, with caregiver information, routines, contacts and handoffs — one household per handoff, or several households in one Offline Handoff File. Each household's information stays separate; nothing is shared across households automatically - Final Wishes & Legacy Planning: $49 (add-on). Brings wishes, document locations, key people, people to notify, first actions, personal letters and Personal Notes (written or recorded as a voice message) together in one organized plan, with a Final Wishes Summary and Letter of Instruction. Does not create wills, trusts, advance directives or other legal documents - Digital Estate: $39 (add-on). A working handoff for online accounts, devices, recovery steps, subscriptions and legacy access, without storing passwords. Printouts: Digital Estate Summary, Legacy Access Checklist, Subscriptions to Cancel, Devices - Complete Family Bundle: $249. The Toolkit plus all three add-ons; $316 if bought separately, so the Bundle saves $67 (about 21%) ## What Life on Track is not - Not a password manager - Not cloud storage for private files - Not legal, medical, financial, tax, or estate-planning advice - Not a replacement for a will or estate documents - Not an emergency service ## When it is used - In ordinary weeks, not only in emergencies. It is where a household looks things up: renewal and appointment dates, the sitter or house sitter, school and camp forms, insurance details, utility and repair contacts, pet care, and a parent's care notes (Additional Households & Caregivers add-on) - In the moments nobody plans for: a hospital stay, a disaster or evacuation, or a trusted person stepping in - Guided Setup is designed to reach a printable Emergency Sheet in about 20 minutes; after that, people open it as often as it is useful ## Who it is for - Adults (roughly 40 to 65) carrying the mental load for a household, aging parents, children, pets, and important documents - Family caregivers and the "sandwich generation" - Anyone preparing for surgery, travel, retirement, or a life transition ## How it compares - More guided and durable than a static printable "family emergency binder" or "in case of emergency" PDF - Private and one-time-purchase, unlike subscription cloud vaults - Digital and updatable, unlike a physical binder ## Key pages - [Home](https://lifeontrack.store/): overview - [How It Works](https://lifeontrack.store/how-it-works.html) - [Interactive Sample](https://lifeontrack.store/features.html) - [The Handoff](https://lifeontrack.store/handoff.html): what a trusted person sees - [The Everyday](https://lifeontrack.store/everyday.html): the household details it holds — accounts, warranties, renewals, vehicles, pets - [Pricing](https://lifeontrack.store/pricing.html) - [Family Organizing Guides](https://lifeontrack.store/resources.html): free guides index - [What to put in a family emergency binder](https://lifeontrack.store/family-emergency-binder.html) - [A digital estate planning checklist your family can actually use](https://lifeontrack.store/digital-estate-planning-checklist.html) - [How to organize important information for aging parents](https://lifeontrack.store/organizing-for-aging-parents.html) - [What happens to online accounts when someone dies?](https://lifeontrack.store/what-happens-to-online-accounts.html) - [Frequently Asked Questions](https://lifeontrack.store/faq.html): FAQ - [Why I Built This](https://lifeontrack.store/about.html): founder - [Installation & Getting Started](https://lifeontrack.store/download.html) - [Support](https://lifeontrack.store/support.html) - [Privacy policy](https://lifeontrack.store/privacy.html) - [Privacy & Security](https://lifeontrack.store/support.html#privacy-help): help on where your file is saved, password protection, sharing choices, video - [Terms of use](https://lifeontrack.store/terms.html) - [Help & Guides](https://lifeontrack.store/help.html): index of help pages - [Refund policy](https://lifeontrack.store/refund.html): 14-day money-back guarantee - [5-Minute Family Readiness Check](https://lifeontrack.store/#free-sheet): free; two printable pages: a 28-item checklist, then an overview of what Life on Track includes
